FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING – NOV. 25

In 1925, Pope Pius XI in his encyclical, Quas Primas, formally set forth the doctrine of the Kingship of Christ and declared the last Sunday in October the date for the celebration of the liturgical Feast of Christ the King, which is now a solemnity and the last Sunday in ordinary time (before the first Sunday of Advent).

MEETING WITH SAINT NICHOLAS – Dec. 2

St. Nicholas will visit children and catechists in their religious education classes.

BEGINNING OF ADVENT – DECEMBER 2

Advent begins on Sunday, December 2nd and is a preparation for the coming of Christ on Christmas.  There are four Sundays in Advent.

FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION DEC. 8TH  – HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION

The dogma of the Immaculate Conception was defined for the Church by Pius IX on Dec. 8, 1854. On Saturday, December 8th, Masses will be at 9AM (Eng.), 11AM (Pol.) and 7PM (Cro.).

FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH – December 7

ALL DAY ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT from 10AM until 6:45PM. Holy Masses at 11AM (Eng.) and 7PM (Pol.).

VISIT of the PROVINCIAL, Fr. PAWEŁ BANDURSKI S.Ch. on Dec. 15-16, 2018

Father Provincial, Paweł Bandurski T.Chr. will visit our parish on December 15 and 16 to recognize achievements of our parishioners: Margot and Mirosław Zychla and Velma and Pat Conte.

Polish Christmas cards and wafers (opłatki) are available in the parish hall. Wafers are $3 per package. Cards are $8 for 10 or $1 for one card.
